WHO WE ARE
Meet our National Director,
Judith Nassali
“I decided to learn TM, and that turned out to be the best decision I could have ever made.“

TM Teachers working together
OUR GLOBAL NETWORK … This global network of women’s organizations teaching the TM technique and its advanced programs, was established in 2007 to focus on raising the quality of life of every woman and every child in 192 countries of the world, through the full awakening of Total Knowledge—the lively field of intelligence at the source of our thinking, feeling and behavior, and through which all areas of life naturally flourish.
OVER 350 STUDIES … Over 350 peer-reviewed published research studies on the TM technique have demonstrated its effectiveness for improvement in all areas of life—mental, physical, emotional, and social. Studies show that the TM practice dissolves stress and awakens the total, holistic functioning of the brain for greater intelligence, greater creativity, greater learning ability, better health, and better relationships. It has been found to lower blood pressure and improve cardiovascular health, and medical expenditures have been found to decrease when the TM technique is included in health care programs.
OUR PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES … Our programs and activities have great relevance for the needs of women and girls in Uganda. Key areas of focus include: development of consciousness, and a Total Knowledge based orientation to education, health, cultural integrity, music and the arts. We offer courses in the TM technique and its advanced programs in a wide range of applications—in existing public schools and in private schools, including our own; working with business professionals, nurses and doctors in hospitals and maternal health clinics, women’s empowerment groups, women’s leadership organizations, and cultural heritage organizations. AWAGO works with Uganda Institute of Health, Education and Sustainable Living, a trade name of IMS Uganda Ltd., our affiliate organization in Uganda, in mixed gender projects such as EDAPO School and Peace High School.
We welcome both individuals and organizations to contact us to learn more about our programs and how we can help fulfill the goals and outcomes of your organization. Whether you are a women’s only organization, business, or school, or mixed gender, we serve the entire population of women and girls in all settings.
